About Us

Joe Montgomery, CEO and Founder.

A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Architecture, Joe, upon graduation, immediately began a career in real estate develoment. By the age of 30, Joe had built his company into one of the largest development/construction firms in Kentucky, eventually developing projects in both Kentucky and Florida with annual sales in excess of $40 million.

Joe has always been entreprenurial in nature and has been involved with a number of startups, including AEC Connect (sold to Purchase Pro), and sits on the board of numerous organizations.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, and defending the University of Kentucky against any nay-sayer.

Mike's most valuable asset is perspective - a blend of vision and experience that challenges the reality of your business today against your aspiration for tomorrow. From his days with a sales bag slung over his shoulder to his years in management to his enrepreneurial establishment in the venture capital world, Mike has built a firm foundational knowledge of sales fundamentals, and has observed the strengths and weaknesses of a wide variety of business enterprises.

After graduating from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, Mike joined Estimation Inc., a national software company that develops applications specifically targeted to the construction industry. He started as a junior sales representative and worked his way up to eventually purchase the company. Soon after, Estimation grew to become the largest company of its kind in the U.S. After the successful sale of Estimation, Mike founded, owned and sold a similar, industry-leading business in the U.K.

When not talking business, Mike likes to spend time with his family, days on the boat, going to the Baltimore Ravens games and arguing about UK with Joe Montgomery.

Joe Ponczak, CTO

Joe P (not to be confused with Joe the CEO), is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore as well. After college, Joe worked at the U.S. Department of State as a QA specialist and then to McCabe & Associates. While at McCabe, Joe held numerous positions, including developer and Account Executive. After McCabe, Joe co-founded Codign Software with some friends and successfully grew the business from an idea on a napkin to products being used in Fortune 500 companies.

When not designing, developing or building computers or software, Joe hangs out with his wife, two sons and 'the dog'. In his spare spare time, Joe likes jogging, soccer and baseball.
